Diablo 3 Switch Rumors Might Actually Be True!

Diablo 3 Switch Rumors Might Actually Be True!

Last week Blizzard put out an ominous video on Twitter, switching a Diablo night-light on and off. The gaming community instantly associated this with a yet to be announced Diablo 3 Switch release. Hopes and dreams were quickly crushed when Blizzard made an official statement explaining “We can assure you we’re not that clever,” They continued to state, “It was meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” http://bit.ly/2FlY5iT
Take a look at the Twitter post by Blizzard that includes the short video which created such a stir.

There Is Still Hope!

Now, gamers have a reason to get excited once again. The dream of playing Diablo 3 on the Nintendo Switch could soon become a reality. A Diablo 3 Switch release may have been dismissed at first by Blizzard but reports are coming in from Eurogamer that a project is in production.

Diablo 3 Switch, Switch Rumors, Nintendo Rumors, video game rumors, video game news, blizzard, diablo 3, switch, nintendo switch, gaming news

Anonymous sources from Eurogamer suggested the game will be a port of Diablo 3. No word on if the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions will be included. However, it would seem a bit lazy if Blizzard didn’t bring over the entire game including the new Necromancer character and other recent content.

Take a Step Back Blizzard

It seems Blizzard was taken aback by the reaction from fans and the gaming community from their short, abstract video. Nintendo has a tendency to hold off game release announcements until they’re nearly ready for market. Especially when it comes to third-party Switch games, early announcements are not typical for Nintendo. A Diablo 3 Switch release may be in the works but Blizzard could have been asked to take a few steps back by Nintendo since the short video seemingly tipped fans off.

Diablo 3 would make be a great fit for Nintendo’s hybrid console. Judging from the reaction of the gaming community, it looks like it would be a money maker as well. Gigamax Games will continue to keep an eye on how this story progresses. Don’t forget to keep checking back for the latest updates and announcements surrounding Blizzards potential Nintendo Switch teaser.

PUBG Ditches Iconic 100 Player Starting Zone

Another Day, Another PUBG Update

A brand new update for the Xbox One version of PUBG is now available and it brings along some impressive changes. Included in the sizable patch are a variety of bug fixes, Game DVR support and, the biggest change so far, the removal of the 100 player starting island that let people size up their competition before the match.

PUBG will now have multiple pre-match starting locations. The developer found an issue with 100 players starting in the exact same area. When everyone starts a match together PUBG’s performance dropped on both the server and client sides. Additionally, all weapons have been removed from the starting locations.

Other changes are aimed at making driving a little easier as well as lowering the amount of damage that is done to the driver when running into trees, rocks, and other obstacles. On top of that, squad members colors are now easier to spot. Gamers also now use the right stick to rotate your character at the customization menu to get a better picture of what your avatar will look like in-game.

A host of bug fixes can with the update, too. Water sound effects have been fixed, although most never noticed they were broken in the first place. Additionally, the bug that would cause a player to teleport to another random location on the map upon landing has been corrected. The update will also patch an issue that caused some objects to float in the air.

Information on New Battlefield Leaks

Information on New Battlefield Leaks

News broke early this year that Electronic Arts will release the new Battlefield in fall. At that time there were details available but fans speculated that it could be a new Battlefield: Bad Company. Unfortunately for those looking forward to a new Bad Company, reports came in from GamesBeat that the next game will be called Battlefield V.

New Battlefield, Battlefield II, Battlefield V, Battlefield WWII, Battlefield World War II, EA, Electronic Arts, DICE

Known as Battlefield 2 internally, it changed names before word reached the public. The report from GamesBeat also made it clear that this would not be a remaster of the 2005 Battlefield 2. It insists the upcoming entry will be an entirely new game set during WWII. EA is expected to make the official announcement soon. The new title will be playable at EA Play in June and as for now, is still slated for release in the fall of 2018.

Back To World War II

Battlefield V will be set in World War II, much like the most recent Call of Duty: WWII. Many were happy that CoD took the jump back in time to the 1940’s but it’s yet to be seen if audiences will be as excited for Battlefield V’s visit to second world war.

New Battlefield, Battlefield II, Battlefield V, Battlefield WWII, Battlefield World War II, EA, Electronic Arts, DICE

EA proved that the gaming community was ready for a change with the success of Battlefield I. No previous Battlefield game ever went back to World War One and it ended up being an extremely good move for the company. Selling faster than Battlefield 4 and it even reached over 25 million players as of December.

Apparently, there is still a heavy appetite for historically based first-person shooters. The market has been flooded in recent years by modern or future warfare. There was a rumor floating around that the developer, DICE, was working on a Vietnam War series but this was found to be false. The developer did say that they will remain open to fan feedback and may consider bringing the series back.
