Diablo 3 Switch Rumors Might Actually Be True!

Diablo 3 Switch Rumors Might Actually Be True!

Last week Blizzard put out an ominous video on Twitter, switching a Diablo night-light on and off. The gaming community instantly associated this with a yet to be announced Diablo 3 Switch release. Hopes and dreams were quickly crushed when Blizzard made an official statement explaining “We can assure you we’re not that clever,” They continued to state, “It was meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” http://bit.ly/2FlY5iT
Take a look at the Twitter post by Blizzard that includes the short video which created such a stir.

There Is Still Hope!

Now, gamers have a reason to get excited once again. The dream of playing Diablo 3 on the Nintendo Switch could soon become a reality. A Diablo 3 Switch release may have been dismissed at first by Blizzard but reports are coming in from Eurogamer that a project is in production.

Anonymous sources from Eurogamer suggested the game will be a port of Diablo 3. No word on if the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions will be included. However, it would seem a bit lazy if Blizzard didn’t bring over the entire game including the new Necromancer character and other recent content.

Take a Step Back Blizzard

It seems Blizzard was taken aback by the reaction from fans and the gaming community from their short, abstract video. Nintendo has a tendency to hold off game release announcements until they’re nearly ready for market. Especially when it comes to third-party Switch games, early announcements are not typical for Nintendo. A Diablo 3 Switch release may be in the works but Blizzard could have been asked to take a few steps back by Nintendo since the short video seemingly tipped fans off.

Diablo 3 would make be a great fit for Nintendo’s hybrid console. Judging from the reaction of the gaming community, it looks like it would be a money maker as well. Gigamax Games will continue to keep an eye on how this story progresses. Don’t forget to keep checking back for the latest updates and announcements surrounding Blizzards potential Nintendo Switch teaser.

3 Games We Want If Microsoft Buys Valve

3 Games We Want If Microsoft Buys Valve

Microsoft is struggling to keep up with their exclusive game list. The Xbox One was not a failure by any means but with a lackluster selection of exclusives, they are far from winning the console war. The easiest way to go about acquiring exclusives is by purchasing studios with a long list of hits under their belt. With rumors and reports of Microsoft in talks to purchase the long-beloved Valve, it could be the push Microsoft needs to make a larger impact on the gaming world. Imagine all the amazing games and opportunity that could become a reality if Microsoft buys Valve!

The profits they could rake in from PC gaming alone could make this move worth the investment. However, the exclusives Microsoft could secure as well as the future games that could be created with all of Valves franchisees are enough to cause excitement.

Let’s take a look at the top 3 games we want to see if Microsoft buys Valve.

Half-Life 3

A long-running joke throughout the video game industry, it would almost be unimaginable for gamers to finally get their hand on Half-Life 3. One of the most renowned franchises that was long thought to be a dead-end could have another chance at life. Since Valves purchase is still up in the air, Microsoft hasn’t made any comments about if they’re humoring the idea of making Half-Life 3 a reality. However out of all the Valve games the gaming community would love to see return, Half-Life 3 is at the top of the list.

Left 4 Dead 3

There are few games that held gamers attention like Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Killing hordes of zombies with a bunch of friends on a mission is an absolutely addicting concept. In classic Valve fashion, after the second Left 4 Dead, they dropped the franchise to work on new projects. Gamers held on hope for a revisit to the Left 4 Dead series but Valve never fails when it comes to moving on after the second release of a beloved game.

Portal 3

Now, this third spot was a toss-up between Portal 3 and Team Fortress 3. The reason Portal 3 was the winner is the simple fact that linear and incredible single-player experiences are relatively rare when compared to the recent trend of hero-based shooters. Portal was one of those games that continues to be brought up in conversations about modern gaming, renowned for its creativity and amazing story.

With no official word from Valve or Microsoft, these three titles will have to remain a blissful dream. However, the fact that word continues to circulate about a potential purchase and Microsoft struggling with their exclusives, a purchase could happen. There might be a brand new joke floating around the internet about Valve and their fear of counting to three if Microsoft decides to breathe new life into titles like Half-Life 3. Be sure to check back on GigamaxGames.com for any breaking news about Microsoft and Valve.

New Crash Bandicoot Rumor and Gamers Heads Spin

New Crash Bandicoot Rumor and Gamers Heads Spin

Activision is rumored to be working on a brand new Crash Bandicoot game. With the incredible success of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, selling over 2 million copies, it would be a good move for the company and for gamers. The rumor broke after people spotted the ‘Spring 2018 issue of Licensing Source Book Europe’. This game may have been a breakout hit but there is still no confirmed reports by Activision on if they will be delivering a new Crash Bandicoot game in 2019. There is, however, a lot of evidence pointing to it being a reality.

Max Arguile, a manager of the merchandising company GB Eye reportedly shared some information he may not have had permission to disclose. “The new game was a huge success at retail with no marketing spend. Next year it will be going broader (Switch and PC) and there will be another game in 2019,” he said. “Activision has a five-year plan for this and GB Eye is delighted to be fully on board for all products.” http://bit.ly/2E5ZRrM

It would make sense for Activision to ride the Crash wave as long as possible. This PlayStation exclusive took the spot for the top-selling remastered collection in Sony’s recent history. With the rumors causing so much excitement and the previous success of the remastered collection, it looks like Activision would be able to drop a successful new Crash Bandicoot game tomorrow without spending a dime on marketing once again.

The Rumor Mill Keeps On Spinning

The rumors don’t stop at just a 2019 release. Those precarious parentheses in the alleged quote recorded by IGN did hold the names of two important consoles, Switch and PC. With the runaway success of the Switch and the massive popularity of PC gaming, a Crash Bandicoot game would be a wonderful addition to both consoles. Still, this is just a rumor but one that holds a lot of validity since Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was such a money maker. Opening up its audience would mean even more access to gamers wallets.

Gigamax Games will be keeping a close eye on the progression of these developments surrounding the brand new Crash Bandicoot game that could possibly be released in 2019. Be sure to check back on this page for any updates or additional news from Activision. The gaming world couldn’t believe the headlines and with good reason, they’re not confirmed. However, let’s keep those fingers crossed because a new Crash Bandicoot game would put a smile on millions of gamers faces around the world.

Gameplay Anyone?

If you haven’t had the chance to see gameplay from the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, this will help. Hope you enjoy!
