Who’s ready to sail the open seas with a party full of pirates? Sea of Thieves is promising all the adventure of a pirates life without the risk of scurvy or a watery grave. The game is releasing in March of 2018 but the Gigamax Games crew was able to get an early start with the closed beta. Having a small preview of the game was exciting and it made the wait for the full release even harder.
Sea of Thieves YouTube Playlist
The gameplay was relatively smooth all the way through which was great to see. Rare had to address some technical issues that interrupted the first few days of the closed beta but extended the beta to compensate. The games’ graphics may be cartoony but they were fantastic. Looking out into the ocean at full sail is a sight to remember.
An Ocean Filled With Danger
Combat was fun and each island held their own surprises. The ocean was filled with danger but it only made the Gigamax crew want to sail into the blue abyss and see what trouble they’d come across. Sea of Thieves has a very interesting progression and questing system which will take some time to figure out but it promises exciting adventures await on the horizon.
No one said being a pirate captain would be easy. Sailing the ship requires a player to hoist the anchor, release the sails, steer the ship and navigate all on their own. Having a crew of friends on board will absolutely make navigating the high seas much easier. Plus, the ships sink on a dime so having a bunch of friends along for the ride could help with fending off shark attacks.
Sea of Thieves is high on the list of games to play for the Gigamax Games crew. Be sure to follow Gigamax on YouTube or check back on this playlist page soon for more videos.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is an interesting creation for the Final Fantasy franchise. Characters from every single Final Fantasy game will fight for their lives in spectacular battles, an experience worth trying. It was amazing having a chance to see the characters from the beginning of the series with much more detail their 8-bit sprite forms.
The battles are flashy and exciting but it’ll take some time to uncover all the intricacies Dissidia Final Fantasy NT seems to be hiding. With so many different numbers, stats, and indicators, the game looks like there is plenty of meta and different layers to the combat. However, it doesn’t seem as though this fighter is going to be incredibly competitive. Instead, the developers are working to create a fun fighter for Final Fantasy fans.

The developers of the indie classic, Journey, are back at it with the spectacular cinematic indie game, ABZU. Creating an exquisite water world, ABZU lets the player live out their underwater fantasies. Swimming with the sea creatures and exploring lost environments deep beneath the waves, the story becomes clear. However the game isn’t so cut and dry, it’s an extremely abstract adventure so imaginations will run wild.
Even though the entire game is relatively short, there is so much to discover. From the different sea creatures to all the incredible rock formations and underwater environments, ABZU is amazing. It’s the perfect game to watch or play when wanting to unwind. Stunning and relaxed are the best words to describe the overall theme of the indie game.

People know when humans fall, Human Fall Flat. That holds true when it comes to the game, Human Fall Flat. No grace and a clumsy disposition make this silly puzzle game absolutely sure to deliver a laugh. The wonky mechanics, unique environments, and a bunch of in-game interactables make each level one to remember.
The goal of the game is to solve the puzzles that stand in your way of jumping off the map and landing in a new world. However, each step a player takes in another opportunity to cause absolute disaster. With the controls intentionally making progression difficult, it creates a challenging experience even with the simple puzzles. Are you ready to wattle through the unique world with Gigs and Mack? The Wolfenstein franchise has been around for over a decade and gamers were ecstatic to hear about this latest title. Live streaming this simple, silly fighter was next to impossible.
Below is the Gang Beasts playlist on YouTube. Every and any of Gigs and Mack’s Gang Beasts adventures will all be located in there. As the game continues to work through its bugs and fix their unstable servers, be sure to check back for even more Gang Beasts videos. Each map brings a new way to slaughter your ragdoll enemies. From dueling elevators to the speeding trucks, these lovable stumbling sprites find themselves in some extremely dangerous situations. It doesn’t seem to faze them however as they headbutt, punch, and throw their way to victory. The battles can get intense but the laughs never stop. Even with people dying all around you, it just doesn’t matter because if you’re next, it’ll probably just make you laugh.

Indie games have a special place in the Gigamax crew’s heart. Being an independent organization, developing, producing and publishing a complete video game isn’t easy. Time To Celebrate
Let’s celebrate all the hard work that has gone into these works of art. AAA games are of course usually more graphically appealing with larger worlds utilizing their bigger budgets but at the same time, they feel more sterile.
When big corporations get their hands on the creative process of developing a video game, things start to change and often times suffer. Indie games avoid this kind of corporate input and instead, the teams create their own vision without the need to appease their bosses. This is what allows indie developers to truly push the envelope and develop the games they want to make. This kind of passion is worth celebrating and that’s exactly the goal of Indie Week at Gigamax Games.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Unfortunate Story of Fan Service
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has delivered dozens of hours of excitement so far and there’s still a ton to go. Even with some of the sub-par reviews this game received because of the fan service, it’s still a quality experience. It shouldn’t turn people away if they’re looking for a great, classic feeling JRPG. Both Gigs and Mack are engrossed in the story and gameplay, glued to the Nintendo Switch with no chance of slowing up soon.
The Nintendo Switch has been killing it with games this year. Developers, publishers, and gamers alike are surprised about its success. Even with the reviewers taking off points, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is still a grand experience any JRPG fan can enjoy.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – The Unfortunate Story of Fan Service
Walking through this gigantic game, the Gigamax crew is blown away by the story. Pulling every trope from the book of anime tropes, they somehow feel right at home. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 embraced many more anime elements when compared to the previous series. This kind of art style and narrative direction are right up Gigs and Macks alley.
Again, this game holds true to many of the JRPG elements that make the genre so great but oftentimes also keeps people at bay. There is very little hold handing and it’s relatively text-heavy. If these kind of games are for you, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 might be worth considering.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit, Gigamax Games! Be sure to keep checking back for new content Monday – Friday!
The Gigamax crew begin their adventure with The Darwin Project thanks to receiving an Alpha key for Steam. Jumping on the brand new Gigamax Gaming PC, Gigs and Mack were ready to see what this new Battle Royale game had to offer. The crew was not disappointed with what they saw.

A New Take On A Beloved Game Mode
A much smaller and confined experience when compared to other Battle Royale games like PUBG or Fortnite, The Darwin Project is something completely new. 7 players to a map, the game is focused on survival rather than conflict. Players are tasked with staying alive in the harsh, frozen environment. Building a fire is a necessity and upgrading your weapons is a must. Periodically, a hexagonal section of the map will turn red and become uninhabitable. Players will need to work around this obstacle and take refuge in the rapidly shrinking map.
There’s no telling when The Darwin Project will be available to the public. The Gigamax crew will be keeping a close eye on this game as the small, Alpha experience lived up to expectations. Even for an Alpha, there were only a few changes we noticed need to be made. The future looks bright for The Darwin Project.
