Bethesda Reveals December 4th Fallout 76 Patch Notes
Bethesda recently announced that a big patch was heading to Fallout 76 on December 4th, and now the developer has revealed exactly what's coming to the open world RPG.
One of the biggest changes coming to the game is a huge increase to stash space from 400 to 600 that could go even increase later. The update is also set to include a host of stability improvements to the client and servers that will ultimately improve the game's overall experience.
Fallout 76 Impressions and Gameplay
Fallout 76 will be receiving a variety of balance changes such as increasing the number of loot drops from boss type enemies and automatic weapon damage is being boosted by 20% to help players feel more powerful while traversing the wasteland.
There are also plenty of bug fixes in the massive update. One fixes an issue where an infinite loading screen would occur if a player got signed out of their console while playing. On Xbox One specifically, the patch repairs an issue that would crash the game upon accepting team invites. Bethesda has also added some UI, survival, and perk changes. For a look at all the changes being implemented to Fallout 76, you can find the full patch notes from Bethesda's website.
PUBG may need to compete with Fortnite, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Battlefield V in the Battle Royale Space but that hasn't stopped Bluehole from staying current with their take on the genre. The most recent update adds plenty of new stuff and fixes an extensive amount of bugs. Referred to as Update 21, this patch brings a new mode, weapon, vehicle, weapon attachment, and reward system.
Update 21 Answers Requests
Update 21 also adds a much-requested feature to the game, a training mode that allows players to practice with the collection of tools available in multiplayer matches. This training area is set on a small island based map and contains fourteen zones for practicing different situations. Some of these areas include ramps, roads with sharp turns, gun ranges, a parachute practice zone, a location for rooftop free running, and an explosives range.
Bluehole added a new gun to all three multiplayer maps called the MK47 Mutant as well. This rifle takes 7.62 ammo and has a 20 round magazine. The gun also has two firing modes which include single shot and two round burst. Almost all rifle attachments can be affixed to the rifle, except stocks.
The jungle island based map, Sanhok, will be receiving a new three-person motorcycle known as the Tukashai. While not the fastest vehicle in the game, it handles offroad better than any other bike.
Update 21 contains an objective system that adds rewards for completing a variety of different tasks such as picking up teammates or damage dealt with a single attack. Players will now have the ability to mark points on the compass so their squad has a better idea of where callouts are located. A new laser sight has also made its way to PUBG that fits on the bottom of rifles. Like in most games, it increases accuracy, but those with it equipped risk giving up their position.
For a full look at what Update 21 changed, find the full patch notes on the Steam message board. With PUBG out on Xbox One, there's sure to be plenty more updates in the future so be sure to keep checking back with us here at GigamaxGames.com for all the details!
Epic Games announced that Season 5 of the massively popular Fortnite: Battle Royale will begin Thursday, July 12. Fortnite Season 5 will be available immediately after Season 4 ends and Epic finishes with their scheduled server maintenance. The latest patch will open up on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and iOS at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST / 6 PM AET.
Gamers are lining up for their chance to purchase the Season 5 Battle Pass. Epic hasn’t confirmed exactly what skins or other items players can expect from the newest Battle Pass or how much it will cost. With no new skins shown off, there is an image of a new mask and a battleaxe in Epic Games teaser. It seems as though this is a partial look at some of the new Season 5 skins to come.
All previous Battle Passes cost 950 V-Bucks and it is assumed that Season 5 will be the same. Fortnite's in-game currency can either be bought with real money, earned when they reach certain reward tiers or in the paid “Save the World” mode. 1000 V-Bucks currently costs $9.99.
Epic Games Keeps Some Secrets
The developer hasn’t been releasing a pool of details about Fortnite Season 5 but recent in-game events has imaginations running wild. A mysterious rocket in the Evil Lair took off into the sky on June 30th which caused a giant rift to open in the sky. Cracks can be seen in the bubble-like storm above all the chaos happening on the island below. Since this time, more mysterious rifts began opening up all over the map. Lonely Lodge, Retail Row, Tomato Town and more all are now home to these interesting new additions.
Along with the in-game developments that are offering hints about the content coming to Fortnite Season 5, people are starting to come across hints in the real-world. A desert in California is now home to the Durr Burger. There were also warning signs that read “warning: you are too close to the anomaly” that appeared around the Durr Burger. Visitors also discovered a card with a phone number on it and when dialed, it played audio of an object disappearing through a rift according to PC Gamer and then was changed to coordinates, Forbes cited.
That’s not the only Fortnite imagery to appear IRL. People are stumbling across Fortnite’s loot llamas all around Europe. So far, there have been seven discovered in total. Paris, Cologne, Cennes, Warsaw, Barcelona and two in London are all home to this lovable llama. That’s a total of eight mysterious real-world Fortnite objects to appear outside of the game. What this all means is still unconfirmed. It could be nothing more than a clever (and successful) marketing stunt or a hint about what's to come in Season 5. Gamers will need to wait until July 12th to see for themselves.
Goodbye Playground Mode
As with the previous limited-time modes in Fortnite, this sandbox-style game option isn’t sticking around. Epic announced that Playground Mode is scheduled to be removed the same day Season 5 begins, July 12th. However, there is some good news for fans of this unique building mode. The developer confirmed that they listened to player feedback, took note of improvements that can be made, and plans on bringing it back to the game, eventually. There is no word yet on when gamers might be able to jump back in and build until their heart's content.
Fortnite Season 5 New Map Expected
One of the biggest questions surrounding Fortnite Season 5. There is no official statement or announcement from Epic Games but Express.co.uk is claiming dataminers uncovered the new map. The video below is from the YouTube Channel, DieBuddies Zocken, an Austrian gamer that seems as though he is playing on a dramatically different Fortnite map.
It’s no secret the Fortnite map has undergone some impressive changes since the game was released. Even with speculation mounting, the video above still remains unconfirmed.
Everyone at Gigamax Games hasn’t been able to pull themselves away from Fortnite, like most of the world. Be sure to stick around for the release of Fortnite Season 5 as the Gigamax crew will be releasing gameplay and exploring what Epic has planned for Fortnite fans with this latest update.
Although a release date has not been announced, Blizzard confirmed it is remaking the vanilla version of World of Warcraft. As time passes, it becomes increasingly evident that the development team behind World of Warcraft Classic is very passionate about the long-awaited project. In a recent "Dev Watercooler" blog post, Blizzard unveiled new details about their experience prototyping the game. They also went on to reassure fans that they would do the original version of the WoW justice.
"The process of restoring the classic game is not straightforward, and it's important to us to take the time and effort to get it right--this includes poring over numerous game versions, data, and code; meticulously scrutinizing all the changes we've made over the years," Blizzard's dev team wrote.
"All the work we're doing will ultimately allow us to recreate an authentic classic experience on a platform that is much more optimized and stable, helping us avoid latency and stability issues. Additional improvements will include modern anti-cheat/botting detection, customer service and Battle.net integration, and similar conveniences that do not affect the core gameplay experience." Back To Where It All Began
World of Warcraft Classic Rebuild
Blizzard detailed that the initial World of Warcraft Classic prototype is a rebuild of Patch 1.12: Drums of War using various archives and source code. Unfortunately for the team, this revealed some pretty big problems including game crashes, issues with modern video cards, incompatibility with Blizzard's latest login system, and a host of other concerns. Using this initial prototype the development team was able to create another test version using the game's modern code and all the infrastructure enhancements it has received over the years. This build of the 1.12 patch is compatible with the latest technology available for PC's and Blizzard's current systems.
World of Warcraft Classic was initially announced at Blizzcon 2017 with a surprise trailer that delighted fans that have been requesting it for years. Hopefully, dedicated WoW players won't have to wait long to play the experience that started their journey through Azeroth. Be sure to check back with GigamaxGames.com for more information on World of Warcraft Classic when it becomes available!
Mega Man fans will be excited to hear Mega Man 11 will be released on October 2nd, 2018. Capcom made the announcement on Tuesday, 5/29/18 that their new game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Mega Man 11 will be the first Mega Man the world has seen since Capcom released Mega Man 10 back in 2010.
The impending release of Mega Man 11 wasn’t the only thing for gamers to get excited about. Capcom revealed to Japan a brand-new Mega Man amiibo. It will be included with the Collector’s Package in Japan but Western gamers will need to pick up Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition. The Western version also includes 4 stickers, a Dr. Wily logo patch, a “stage select” microfiber cloth, the game, and the amiibo.
Gamers have been enjoying this classic character for 30 years and the developer is making it clear they’re not done yet. In the gameplay above, it’s obvious Capcom made some amazing improvements to this classic world. The easiest change to spot was their move away from the 8-bit art style. Mega Man and the enemies are much more “life-like” in this latest game. The new 3D graphics are stunning but the game still maintains the classic feel of the franchise. Mega Man 11 will feature, what seems to be, high-quality voice acting as well.
Capcom isn’t just improving the look of their game, they’re adding some new systems as well. The trailer shows off the Double Gear system where players can use new abilities to slow time or make Mega Man stronger. However, there is a limit to the Double Gear system. Using it will cause the overheat bar to rise and if it reaches the top, players will have to wait before using Double Gear again.
Keep Your Eyes Open!
The Gigamax crew are big fans of the Mega Man series and will be keeping a close eye on any future announcements about the new release. For a little look at the previous Mega Man Capcom released in 2010, come take a look at playlist below.
The studio behind the hit action game, Bayonetta, teased a new game in the same genre they perfected. PlatinumGames, also behind the canceled Xbox One game Scalebound, revealed their plan at the Bitsummit event when Platinum boss, Atsushi Inaba announced that the company has a number of new projects in the works. These games include Bayonetta 3 and something never before seen in the action genre.
According to the video game publication DualShockers, Inaba teased that the game would "turn the action genre on its head." Although, it sounds as if the game is still early in the development process as only a certain group of people are even aware of its existence at PlatinumGames.
Platinum is also behind the cult classic Metal Gear: Revengeance and the recent hit Nier: Automata. On top of Bayonetta 3 and this mysterious game, the company is co-developing Lost Order and Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link for both mobile and PlayStation 4.
This Is Only The Beginning
Inaba also said that back in January that PlatinumGames was already in the beginning stages of developing new games. "We've pretty much opened the company up to 'Anybody can pitch a game,' and so over the last year we've gotten about 70 design documents from different people," Inaba said. "So [2017 was] about us basically diluting which stuff we wanted to focus on and not focus on, and drilling down to the point where we now have two designs that we're genuinely focused on." (https://bit.ly/2IDNyEt)
The studio head told fans to expect the next couple of titles to have a mid-range budget. "We can't put together a AAA, $10 million-plus game, because we just don't have that sort of cash as an independent developer. However, we don't plan to go the indies route with just a few people on a team making a game, so it'll be somewhere in the middle, looking at probably about 20 people on the staff making the game, so that'll still be a healthy [size]." (https://bit.ly/2IDNyEt)
PlatinumGames is certainly a trustworthy studio that specializes in making games that break the mold, not only in terms of gameplay but story as well. It'll be exciting to see what revolutionary ideas the studio will explore next and Gigamax Games will be sure to report the latest details when this new game is revealed.

The infamous No Man's Sky is officially coming to the Xbox One later this year. Whatever agreement Hello Games had with Sony seems to have come to an end. Distribution will be handled by 505 games and the announcement of the Xbox One release was coupled with the next big update, “No Man’s Sky NEXT”. Even though the game was a major commercial success, critics and gamers lashed out at the game and developer, Hello Games, for what they called false advertising and extremely limited content. Many are wondering if a release on Xbox One would bring the kind of commercial success it saw on PlayStation 4.
The game’s creators were even investigated for false advertising though they were later cleared of these allegations. Massive sales quickly tapered off after gamers realized the game was not what Hello Games promised. However, even with all of this backlash from the gaming community, they remain committed to working on their game that brought about so much controversy.
What's NEXT for No Man's Sky?
“We called this update NEXT, because it’s an important next step on a longer journey for us and the community,” Hello Gamers co-founder Sean Murray wrote. “We’ve been working our socks off on this and it’s by far our biggest update so far. It will be free to existing players, and we’ll continue to support No Man’s Sky in this way for the foreseeable future.” https://bit.ly/2GEzppD
Now that gamers know now about the controversy surrounding No Man’s Sky the big question is if an Xbox One release will bring with it considerable sales numbers. People are wary of game developers that have lied in the past. Especially in such a dramatic fashion as Hello Games did.
The Xbox One release will be enhanced for the Xbox One with HDR and 4K support. Those that purchase the game on Xbox will also receive every expansion for the game which includes, the Foundation, Pathfinder, and Atlas Rises updates.
Only Time Will Tell
It would be astonishing to see a No Man’s Sky Xbox One release bring a fraction of the sales Hello Game raked in on PlayStation 4. Yet all the content added since initial release being included with a single purchase on Xbox One might be enough to pique the curiosity of gamers that never had a chance to try it for themselves. But only time will tell if this curiosity will be enough to overshadow the stain No Man’s Sky left on the gaming world.
With all the hate Hello Games received, it’s important to remember that this is an indie developer. One that had a worldwide impact on the video game industry, even if it didn’t make the right kind of impression. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of audience they can bring in with the release on Microsoft's console.
Gigamax Game will be keeping a close eye on the progress No Man’s Sky makes on Xbox One. There’s no release date yet, so be sure to check back soon on GigamaxGames.com for the latest updates!

Spyro The Dragon Remastered Glides To The PlayStation 4
This September is a special one for Spyro The Dragon fans. 20 years ago, the original Spyro was released on PlayStation 1. Kotaku reported late yesterday, 2/13/18, that multiple sources insist Activision is currently working on a Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remaster. The official announcement is expected to come in March of 2018 and will be slated for release in Q3 2018.
Longtime PlayStation fans might be experiencing a bit of déjà vu. The Spyro remaster is expected to be similar to the extremely successful Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. New animations, cinematics, improved graphics, assets and a remastered soundtrack will all create the brand new original Spyro The Dragon Trilogy, Ripto’s Rage! (Gateway to Glimmer as it’s known in Europe and Australia), and Year of the Dragon.
There is also a chance that the trilogy will include previously cut content that never made it in the original games. No word on what this content could possibly be but when looking at the N. Sane Trilogy, Crash received the Stormy Ascent level that could only be reached with a GameShark back on the original version.
Multiple sources report that the remastered Spyro The Dragon Trilogy will be exclusive on PS4 for one year before reaching other platforms. It will also come with PS4 Pro support. This temporary exclusivity is another similarity shared between the upcoming Spyro game and the N. Sane Trilogy. If the success of the N. Sane Trilogy is any indication of the popularity of these classic video game franchises, a Spyro The Dragon remaster has a great chance of succeeding on any platform it reaches.
Activision is clearly impressed with the success of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and wants to continue offering gamers the content they enjoy. Older titles like Shadow of The Colossus, Crash Bandicoot and now Spyro went down in history as revered classics. It’s been incredible to watch developers like Activision breathe new life into the titles. It gives gamers that may have missed the original releases a second chance to go along for these adventures or longtime fans an opportunity to play these games on modern consoles.
These reports have come from Kotaku UK citing unidentified sources and have yet to be confirmed by Activision. Gigamax Games will be keeping a close eye on how this story continues to develop. Check back on this page for any new details that bubble to the surface. Once March comes around and if Activision makes the official announcement, don’t forget to stop by on GigamaxGames.com for the latest report and any additional insight into the upcoming Spyro remaster.
