For trainers that missed their chance to catch a Shiny Meltan back in February, Niantic is offering up a second opportunity. The Meltan themed event is returning to the game on Wednesday, April 24th, where fans can add this elusive Shiny Mythical Beast to their collection.
Meltan is Back!
Meltan is unique in Pokemon Go due to the fact that trainers need a specific item known as a Mystery Box in order to summon the monster. Normally, after opening the Mystery Box players have 30 minutes to catch as many Meltan as they can find, then after the allotted time, they need to wait another 7 days before opening the box again. During the Meltan event, Niantic has decreased the box spawn time from 7 days to only 3 days, allowing fans to catch way more monsters than they could before.
Players will have a chance to catch a Shiny Meltan every time they open the Mystery Box. This beast can be distinguished by its darker head and blue tail. Trainers that are able to capture a Shiny Meltan can evolve the monster into a Shiny Melmetal. Unfortunately, players will only have until May 5th to capture a Shiny Meltan, so act quickly if you'd like to capture one.
Niantic is not waiting long after the Meltan event ends to host their next Community Day event, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 19th. This time around Community Day will focus on the Gen 3 starter, Torchic. Players will also be able to earn triple the amount of Stardust during May's Community Day event.

God of War was one of the biggest critical and economical video game success stories from last year. Sony has no plans for an expansion to last year's Game of the Year title. Cory Barlog, Director for God of War, confirmed this today on Twitter.
What's Next for God of War?
"There is no DLC coming for the game. Sorry," said Barlog on Twitter. This was in response to a separate tweet that seemingly teased a new God of War announcement. Barlog wanted to clear up any confusion and confirm that this message was referencing the game's anniversary celebration.
Just so no one gets the wrong idea - there is no DLC coming for the game. Sorry.
It has already been confirmed that fans will receive a free PS4 theme and avatar set, and Barlog teased that even more was on the way. But this announcement won't be related to God of War DLC.
DLC is "Too Ambitious"
Barlog spoke earlier this year to Kinda Funny and said that he was interested in making a DLC, but he was told it was too ambitious and the idea was ultimately scrapped.
It was allegedly going to be similar to the huge story expansions that both Last of Us and Uncharted 4 received, which warranted their own stand-alone expansions. "It would [have] ended up being its own thing," Barlog said of the God of War expansion we'll never see. "Rightfully so, everybody said, 'Dude, this is crazy, this isn't DLC, this is a little too big."
The future of God of War is still out of focus. It's not clear what the developers have planned to keep God of War alive. However, the Gigamax Games crew will be keeping a close eye on any announcements. Be sure to visit GigamaxGames.com again soon for the latest gaming news!

[Update] Overwatch Storm Rising has been announced. A detailed look at the new event can be found, here.
It hasn't been long since Blizzard rolled out their latest Overwatch hero, Baptiste, and now it appears their gearing up for a new event. Fans have recently discovered a teaser that could point to the theme, a news article from Havana, Cuba.
Overwatch Event Time!
The article, penned by the fictional author, Marise Solis, details the story of Don Rumbotico and his rum business. Although, this company has gotten so large that its original purpose has been long forgotten. It looks like Havana has gained a few private investors that are buying land and filling the territory with armed guards. This could indicate a new map for players to explore in the near future.
Further indicating that Havana, Cuba will be the game's next location, the flight indicator in Numbani Airport lists the capital city as a destination.
Blizzard released a second fictional article indicating that Florida and Bahamas are preparing for a category 3 storm known as, Hurricane Fernand. The hurricane is originating in the north and passing conveniently through Havana. Every civilian has been evacuated so the area is just waiting to be torn apart in a fight between good and evil.
We'll be sure to have an update when Blizzard finally pulls back the curtain so be sure to check back here at GigamaxGames.com!
It feels like The Division 2 just came out, but Ubisoft already has big plans in store for their shared-world shooter. The first major content update is set to add a new difficulty mode, world tier, weekly invasions, new weapons, gear, and more. On top of all that, a raid is set to hit the game at the end of April.
The Divison 2 - Year 1 Update Trailer
The content update is called, Tidal Basin, and it is the first post launch free content update in the Invasion: Battle for D.C. season. The update drops on April 5th and with it comes a new Stronghold that is occupied by Black Tusk troops. "Tidal Basin is now home to some of the most powerful enemies in the game, and they're not going down easy," Ubisoft says.
If players and their squad are able to take down this challenging Stronghold then they are awarded World Tier 5, which gives them access to a gear score between 450-500. Upon reaching World Tier 5, players also unlock new weekly invasions that involve Black Tusk troops taking over other Strongholds and missions throughout the capital. Ubisoft described these experiences as more difficult than other challenges and promises better loot and gear for completing them.
Invasion: Battle for D.C. adds a new Heroic difficulty setting that according to Ubisoft offers the most challenging gameplay yet. Additionally, two new exotic weapons, Pestilence and Nemesis, and gear sets True Patriot, Hardwired, and Ongoing Directive will be added.
It Doesn't End There...
Ubisoft isn't done yet. A new PVP map named Fort McNair and more cosmetics are included in the Invasion Apparel Event.
Looking forward, The Division 2's first raid Operation Dark Hours is scheduled to arrive on April 25th. It's an 8 player raid that will test the skills of even the most experienced agents and is set to be the toughest challenge in the entire game. After many weeks of teasing a new title that fans suspected was Borderlands 3, Gearbox finally took the time to reveal the game and drop a gameplay trailer at PAX East yesterday (3/28/19).
Borderlands 3 Official Trailer
Those that have played any of the previous Borderlands titles will recognize many familiar elements from throughout the series. A team of four vault hunters, "1 billion" guns, big mechs and vehicles, Claptrap, and his vast array of stylish dance moves, the series' iconic cel-shaded graphics, and huge levels that give players a sandbox to roam around and shoot baddies. Plenty of classic characters also popped up throughout the trailer including: Brick, Lilith, Maya, Mordecai, Ellie, Marcus, Tiny Tina, and plenty of others.
New Vault Hunters and Abiliites
It did not take long but fans are already discussing what the new vault hunters abilities using hints from the trailer.
There's a muscle-bound female character that appears to be a siren. She is seen spawning six ethereal arms and later in the trailer a giant arm has an enemy trapped in a bubble.
A small female hunter is seen standing in front of a mech that she can apparently summon. Later in the trailer, she is driving a giant motorized tire and shooting its variety of guns.
A soldier-like male hunter is seen using a device that creates a holographic version of himself.
Finally, there's a robotic hunter in a cape that can allegedly command pets such as a skag and spiderant.
The trailer also revealed a variety of different worlds that players will be exploring including the familiar desert, green and watery swamplands, and a slick future city. Also included in the trailer were a numerous amount of enemy types and beautiful (and we mean so so beautiful) showers of green, blue, and purple loot.
Unfortunately, Gearbox was not ready to announce a release date today, but they promised more information on April 3rd, the same day Borderlands: Game of the Year edition comes out. After a recently aired special episode of Persona 5: The Animation titled "Stars and Ours," the developer behind the critically acclaimed RPG series, Atlus, revealed some more information about the mysterious game, Persona 5R. The trailer below shows the title of the game is Persona 5 The Royal.
Persona 5 The Royal, Game Name Reveal Trailer
While Atlus didn't provide any further details on what the game is, they teased that more information will be coming April 24 during a live concert event called, Persona Super Live 2019. Many suspect, due to the nature of previous Persona games and the trailer, that this title will be a Game of the Year edition that contains additional content.
The trailer for Persona 5 The Royal focuses on a new character who studies at the games high school, Shujin Academy, where most of the main characters also attend. In the trailer she is asked about her opinion on the Phantom Thieves, the vigilante group your player controls throughout the course of the game. She then points out that she does not exactly approve of their methods on crime fighting.
New Content Incoming
It's very possible that this new character will be the focus of the additional content. Atlus typically throws some new content into its re-released games, as fans have seen with their launches of Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Golden. Many are guessing that this content will include a new palace and storyline.
We'll be sure to keep our eye on any updates regarding this title so for more Persona 5 The Royal news keep checking back with us here at GigamaxGames.com!

Valve has revealed that it's going to reassess user reviews on its digital game market, Steam, in order to ensure developers products are not being review bombed. In a post on the Steam blog, Valve stated that it will now "identify off-topic review bombs, and remove them from the Review Score."
"We define an off-topic review bomb as one where the focus of those reviews is on a topic that we consider unrelated to the likelihood that future purchasers will be happy if they buy the game, and hence not something that should be added to the Review Score," Valve continued. The company admits there's still a bit of a grey area with this definition, so it's developed a tool that "identifies any anomalous review activity on all games on Steam in as close to real-time as possible."
After the new tool finds reviews that pose a problem, it will alert Valve who then will launch their own investigation into the matter. If Valve then finds the user reviews are malicious and not real, the developer of the title will be notified that every review within the time period of the review bomb will be removed from the game's overall score on Steam. After all of this, the developer will have to go through the reviews and decide which ones will be deleted.
Unfortunately, the new tool is unable to make the distinction between a good and bad review so even the real ones will be deleted in this new process. "But as we mentioned back in our first User Review post, our data shows us that review bombs tend to be temporary distortions, so we believe the Review Score will still be accurate, and other players will still be able to find and read your review within the period," Valve wrote on the blog. Negative comments that pertain to DRM or EULA changes will be considered off-topic review bombings.
If developers don't want their game included in the new algorithm, they are able to opt out of the process when putting their game on the Steam Store. The company is also working on a number of new updates for User Reviews but those won't be revealed until a later date.
