The trailer below is filled with gameplay and story details that will make any Kingdom Hearts fanatic start shaking with excitement. Its spectacular visuals don’t outshine the direction the developer took when creating one of the most highly anticipated games of the decade.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Trailer

Overall the trailer indicates Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the darkest, grittiest Kingdom Hearts to date. It looks as though the series grew up as their original audience became adults.

The excitement doesn’t end with the english version of the Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer, there is also a Japanese version. It includes the Japanese soundtrack and voice acting. Anyone that wants as much Kingdom Hearts 3 as possible before 2019, the Japanese Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer is below.

Being the last part of the Kingdom Hearts Trilogy, it will be the end of Sora’s adventure. All the characters that play a vital role in the main story show up in the trailer. Just from the short, three minute and forty-one second trailer is extraordinary and there’s no telling to what lengths the game creators went in order to send Sora off. With over 10 years since the second installment, anything less than an unforgettable, larger-than-life conclusion would be a massive disappointment.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will take place after the latest Kingdom Hearts title, Birth by Sleep. To catch up on the story and get ready for January 29th, the entire playthrough of Birth by Sleep is available below.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Announced

After over a decade of anticipation, Square Enix finally set a release date for the long-awaited game, Kingdom Hearts 3. The third game has big plans to expand the scope of the universe and prove that they still have what it takes to blend eastern and western characters. Kingdom Hearts 3 will release on both the Xbox One and PS4 on January 29th, 2019. Immediately following the announcement, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the game during Microsoft's E3 press conference.

The World is Stunned

Many were shocked at the sudden nature of this announcement, with the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account revealing the release date with no build up or celebration on the first day of E3 2018. While fans of the series are aware that Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in development for years, series creator Tetsuya Nomura said at last year's D23 event that the game's release date was planned for 2018. During a fan event for the game in May, he had announced that a final release date for the game would be made public very soon.

Fans can still expect to visit Disney themed worlds throughout their journey to save the universe from being consumed by darkness. Although, this time around Pixar is making their debut in the beloved series. As of now, Square Enix confirmed that Frozen, Tangled, Big Hero Six, Hercules, Toy Story, and Monsters Inc. levels are all present in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Keep Those Fingers Crossed

Hopefully, this will actually be the final release date for the game. With the amount of gameplay and details the developer has revealed, people have high hopes it will happy. Everyone at Gigamax Games is big fans of the Kingdom Hearts series and plenty of coverage for the game is on its way as the release date draws closer. Screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3 & Final Fantasy 7 Released

Attendees at this year's Monaco Anime Game International Conferences got a real treat. The developer behind Kingdom Hearts 3 and the Final Fantasy VII remake, Tetsuya Nomura, showed some brand new screenshots of the highly anticipated titles.

Final Fantasy VII

The first couple of screenshots were taken from the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy VII. They are some awesome action shots of the series protagonist, Cloud in some sticky situations. The initial picture shown is of the hero taking cover behind a box as a Shinra soldier fires at him, presumably in the beginning moments of the game. The photo also highlights how radically different this game will be than the original. New to Final Fantasy VII is the action combat that is very reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts. Although veterans of the series will notice a battle timer that will surely impress old school fans.

The next screenshot of Final Fantasy VII was an action sequence showing Cloud and the gun arm wielding, Barrett, fighting off a spider tank. This is the first boss fight that players encountered in the original release and it couldn't look more different. Square Enix has also recently revealed that the remake would be an episodic adventure so that every part of the game would be extremely detailed.

Finally, an image of Kingdom Hearts 3 was shown that did the unthinkable, increased the hype even further. In the screenshot the protagonist Sora is preparing to take on a new type of unnamed heartless. He is wearing some new flashy clothes and seems to be preparing some sort of spell to throw at the monster. Kingdom Hearts 3 is over 10 years in development and the hard work shows. The Unreal 4 Engine is a perfect fit for the game and makes the game look gorgeous.

Unfortunately no release date was announced for either game but hopefully it drops by the holiday season this year.
