The Xbox Series X has made its way into the hands of many people in the press and streamers, and videos of various Xbox One games running on the new console have emerged. With the current Xbox Series X lineup looking sparse, the big appeal of the console has become revisiting old titles and seeing how the new features enhance the experience.
Recently, one streamer shared a video of The Witcher 3 running on the Series X and fans now have a proper look at the super boosted loading times offered by the console. YouTuber rubhen925 shared almost two hours of footage of the title being run on the system. While eager fans should definitely watch the full video, the most exciting part for long time players happens when fast travel is used.
On #Xbox Series X, even without optimization, fast travel in The Witcher 3 is FAST. pic.twitter.com/mc4vEBjVd6

The GIF found in the tweet below happens at about the 1 hour 14 minute mark in the video, and it shows exactly what happens when fast travel is used. There’s no more loading screen, actually the environment loads so fast it almost appears to be a glitch.
It’s certainly not as pretty as a loading screen, but it is way more convenient for players looking to get some quick gaming in. The Witcher 3 is coming to both the Xbox Series X and PS5 with an improved next-gen edition, which will feature ray tracing for the first time. Developer CD Projekt Red’s next title is Cyberpunk 2077, which was recently delayed until December due to issues with the PS4/Xbox One build of the game.
