Monster Hunter World’s third major title update is now live on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As of now, Capcom has the update scheduled for April 8th on PC.
Along with a variety of small improvements, the update adds two new variants of monsters which includes the Furious Rajang and Raging Brachydios. The update also introduces layered weapons to the game, which allow hunters to alter the appearance of their weapons without positively or negatively affecting the stats.
Monster Hunter World players on PC have always been a few updates behind their fellow players on console. This is largely due to Iceborne not releasing on PC until January, where console players got the expansion in September of 2019. Following this update though, Capcom will be releasing updates on console and PC simultaneously. This includes the next update which will be adding more layered weapons and monsters as well.
Starting April 9th, all versions of Monster Hunter World will be celebrating the latest season event, Full Bloom Fest, which will feature new meals, decorations, and costumes for various characters in the game. Much like other events in the game, special event tickets will be available for crafting exclusive armor.
