Who’s ready for more games to come to the Nintendo Switch? During a Nintendo Direct on April 12th, Nintendo had some exciting news for Switch owners. Below is a list of the titles coming to the Nintendo Switch this year.
This action game’s release date was just confirmed for July 25 2017. Similar combat to Dynasty Warriors a version of Fate/Extella named The Umbral Star was recently released on PS4 and Vita early this year.
The Demo is now available on the eShop but Puyo Puyo Tetris will be coming to the Switch later this month. No confirmed release date as of now.
First shown off at the Switch reveal event in January, not much information made it to the surface until Wednesday. Nintendo confirmed gamers can expect to see Project Mejuru making it to stores this summer.
The small amount of press this game received showed a four-player battle mode where players punch the ground with the goal of matching tiles to take over territory on a board. We’ll just have to wait and see what it really has to offer.

If you’re a minecraft fan and own a Switch, you might be shaking in your boots right about now. Nintendo confirms fans can start playing Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition on May 11th.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will be released May 26th this year. Playing Street Fighter on the mobile Switch does sound enticing, it seems like a perfect game for this hybrid system.
First released in 2013, Payday 2 was maintained constantly so it’ll be interesting to see where it goes on the Switch. Expected to drop later this year, there are a lot of questions about the specific details for this version and what content it will include. Nintendo didn’t offer much information during Wednesday’s Direct, but there’s still a lot of excitement surrounding this title.
This Fall, a new version of Monopoly will be heading to the new console. No confirmed release date as of now. Ubisoft will be publishers behind this Switch release.
Summer this year, SEGA’s Sonic Mania will be coming to the Switch. This will not be another 3D Sonic, instead Sonic Mania brings it back to 2D. Remixed levels from the classic games and some new ones mixed in, if you’re a Sonic fan this might be for you.
If 3D Sonic is more your speed, Sonic Forces might be the better choice. Sonic Forces, can be compared to Sonic Generations, featuring two versions of sonic teaming up to defeat a threat.

Nintendo confirmed a that Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition will be coming to the Switch in 2017. This reiteration will be building off the Rayman Legends first released in 2013. More content and a multiplayer mode will be included, but no confirmed launch date is available.
